　　Accelerators have emerged with the widespread use of cement concrete and have been constantly developing. In shotcrete applications, they significantly increase spraying speed and thickness, while simultaneously increasing strength and reducing rebound. Accelerators allow concrete to set quickly after being sprayed onto the work surface.

Product Performance

2. High early strength, with minimal reduction in later strength (less than 30%).

3. Allows concrete to initially set within 3-5 minutes and finally set within 10 minutes after spraying.

● Product Usage

　　Accelerators are mainly used in shotcrete and leak repair projects. In tunnel and underground roadway projects, shotcrete can be used to achieve rapid and high-quality results. The method of incorporating the accelerator should be determined by the process conditions.

　　When using dry-mix shotcrete, the powdered accelerator is added simultaneously with the cement, coarse aggregate, and fine aggregate. These materials are mixed evenly during transport by compressed air. Powdered accelerator liquid can be used in wet-mix spraying, but it needs to be added in the form of a compressed air stream at the nozzle and cannot be directly added to the wet-mix spraying machine or pump. Liquid accelerators are dissolved in water before spraying, diluted with an appropriate amount of water during spraying, and added at the nozzle using a water pump or air pressure, making it easy to ensure even distribution of the accelerator.

　　When an appropriate amount of accelerator is added to silicate cement, under certain water-cement ratios and temperatures, the cement slurry has plasticity, and its setting time can be controlled within 10 minutes. The general requirements for accelerators are that the slurry has good fluidity and does not exhibit rapid drying, thickening, or lack of plasticity during mixing.
